Our client, a refrigeration installer by trade, installs and maintains state-of-the-art refrigeration technologies and solutions. They called on us to meet the needs of a major food industry brand that markets dairy products manufactured in the west of France.

Need
Dairies have significant cooling requirements over short periods. Dairies use chilled water tanks for this purpose, which must never come into contact with glycol, which requires the use of heat exchangers.
These chilled water tanks are maintained at around 1.5 to 2°C, which means that we have to keep the temperature on our secondary network under control, so as not to freeze the exchanger and thus secure the installation.
Solution
Coolworld set up a 200KW chilled water production system with a pump and a tank to feed the plate heat exchanger designed to cool the customer's network. This way we protect the customer's chilled water tank by providing the necessary cooling power while controlling our set point.
